Brief History:
During the first demon war, Azmodan’s forces were made up of many kinds of demons, from gigantic destroyers, to the lowliest imp. However, his army also included Succubae, the most comely of the demons. One such Succubus was named Nezriel, who served her dark master in the eastern expanse, destroying the cities and slaying the people. However, all out destruction is not the way of the Succubus, nor was it Nezriel’s. The Succubae lived to tempt mortals and drive them to serve the demon’s whims, using their charms and their sex as weapons.

This was the way with Nezriel during the siege of Oktaro, the largest city in Hoshikayo. The most powerful man in Oktaro was the rich media mogul named Osato Nishigawa. Control of Osato meant control of the Oktaro media, a worthwhile investment to the eventual annihilation of Hoshikayo. To this end, Nezriel used her shapechanging and demonic abilities to gain Osato’s trust. He eventually took her to his bed, and that was Nezriel’s chance. She drained his life force to the point that he was unconscious. Thinking that he was dead, Nezriel left him and reported back to Azmodan. With Osato out of the way, Azmodan ordered the siege of Oktaro. The city was attacked for days, but not completely destroyed. Its salvation was Azmodan’s destruction.

It turned out that Nezriel’s encounter with Osato was not entirely without consequence. She was pregnant with his child. Normally, she would have terminated the child, but something compelled her to keep it. Within a few months, Nezriel gave birth to her child, and named her Handriel. In the closing days of the war, Azmodan ordered her to stay with him. Nezriel served as a guard, and tried to protect her dark master during a vicious attack by a group of rebel Furs. Injured by some white cat-girl, she was powerless to help Azmodan as he was struck down by the same one who injured her. Nezriel was trapped in Ruferus, along with her child. She returned to Oktaro, the only place in Ruferus that she knew something about. She tried to keep herself and Handriel low in terms of their profile, now that the demons had been defeated. She posed herself as a Fur, and taught Handriel how to shapechange. It took a while, but eventually Handriel successfully transformed so that she hid her horns and wings.

Nezriel’s efforts to hide them, however, were in vain, as Osato had Nezriel gunned down, and took her daughter for his own. Osato was not slain by Nezriel, merely weakened so much that he slipped into a coma. His coma didn’t last long, and he soon gained the strength to strike back against Nezriel. Upon seeing the infant, he knew that he was her father. No matter what kind of creature she was, Osato adored her. He renamed her Kumiko Nishigawa and raised her as his own daughter. He had her trained as a martial artist from a very young age. She was given top notch education and lived for years believing that she was a Fur like her father, her memories of her mother having faded. Things went on this way for 20 years.

But Kumiko would soon learn that old memories have a way of rising from their dormancy. Kumiko had little interest in other men until one struck her fancy. They had a flirty relationship that developed quickly. Eventually, they decided to go all the way. During their intercourse, Kumiko’s Succubus blood began to take hold. She became very horny, and eventually so sex-crazed, that she fucked her lover until he passed out. Afterwards, all the memories of her mother came flooding back. She remembered how she was slaughtered by her father, and how to shapechange. She also remembered someone, another hybrid child like her. All she could remember of him was the fleeting glimpse of his face, but it was an image that was burned into her mind. She now realized who she was, and she was angry. She was angry at her father for what he did to her mother. She ran back to his home, took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her father to death while he slept. Taking whatever weapons and supplies she could find, she set out to find the one who fit the image in her mind.

Kumiko scoured the planet for years, intent of finding him. She tried her best to search given the clues that were 20 years old, trying to avoid suspicion in the process. Eventually, she tracked him down to Thalland City. He was living in the burned out shell of a church. When she saw him, she knew instantly that that was him. She introduced herself to him, and he told her that he was Jared Orkney, son of Azmodan. He had no memory of her, however, but they knew they had a common enemy. She joined him in his plans, and met Ralf Bethlehem, a man who she loathes because of his insanity and his insatiable bloodlust. Kumiko felt that she had a friend, and a lover in Jared, and he felt likewise.

Now that her lover has but his plan in motion, Kumiko has become his master ninja assassin, although she still uses her Succubus ways occasionally. She still remembers her birth name, Handriel, but prefers the name given by her father. She hates the group of immortals for what they did the many years ago, but hates Sabine with a passion for having hurt her mother and slain Azmodan. The only one she doesn’t hate is Bors. For reasons unknown to him, Kumiko seems to have a sexual attraction to Bors. Sabine hates Kumiko as much as Kumiko hates her for that reason. While Kumiko must bide her time, she awaits the day she can finally slit Sabine’s throat and get revenge for trapping her in this world…
